The children have done so well this week, taking the huge step of starting school. We have had a first week filled with smiles and laughter as the children enjoyed exploring the areas of provision and getting to grips with the daily routines. One of their favourite areas to spend time in this week is the ‘Oulton Surgery’ where children have been removing splinters, taking temperatures and fixing lots of broken bones! Outside, the children were delighted to find peas and tomatoes growing in our garden. The peas tasted sweet and crunchy, and we are waiting for our many tomatoes to ripen and turn red before we eat them!
