Our first full week in Reception was a big week and left some of us (including the adults) feeling very tired! However, we had LOTS of fun along the way. We spent the week continuing to explore the indoor and outdoor environments and got to know our friends a little bit more when we unpacked our brown bags. It was interesting to find out what is special to each of us. We have dipped our toes into the wonderful world of phonics, by looking at the pictures which accompany the letter sounds that we are going to learn, and ensuring that we know what they are. We went down to the woods for the first time and met Hedgely the hedgehog who told us all about the wood that she shares with her woodland friends. We enjoyed our time in the woods!
